Epic Orchestra with good music
Epic Orchestra with good music

iphonefreegamesreview.blogspot.com | Rhythm games are known for living and dying by their soundtrack – they must have a broad enough appeal to cover a huge fanbase, while also being interesting to play.

Not so in Epic Orchestra, where most likely tasked with playing together to a selection of classical pieces which have been adoringly rearranged for an orchestra.

"Epic Orchestra" is created to combine two passions: music and old style games. Playing to the rhythm of the music will immerse you into classical music like never before.

The art style takes inspiration from late-80's console games, while the gameplay strives to be easy to play, hard to master.

The control (swiping) does make sense – it offers you that feeling to be a conductor, waving your baton around, and it is effective in a real-world sense too.

Will be certainly a selection of recognisable tunes in here, including Canon in D and Maple Leaf Rag, and even the ones you avoid know are incredibly well-realised in the score that likely to be tempted to track down an edition not made completely with synths.

Along with 27 Game Centre achievements, a competitive leader table, five free levels and ten which is often ordered with an IAP, a imaginary classical score, variable troubles, and much more, this will certainly be a game worth a good look.

Epic Orchestra is actually out currently on Apple TV, but had yet to be released fully on iPad and iPhone. It'll be free-to-play with the option of a £1. 49/$1. 99 IAP to unlock the full experience.

It's wonderfully presented and enormous fun to play, and besides a few control issues, it's one of the most pleasurable ways to experience classical music you can find.

Gameplay

Epic Orchestra, try not to miss
Epic Orchestra, try not to miss
A person play as a Maestro conducting your very own orchestra.

This swipe-based rhythm game is something with easy controls that're difficult to master as you swipe your way through each score, replicating such extraordinary artists as Beethoven, Mozart, and so forth.

Epic Orchestra has you swiping the display screen either up, down, left, or right in time with the music, seeking to swipe just as the corresponding arrow passes through a box.

It's pretty generous using its timing too – so long as the arrow is somewhere within the box you'll score some points. though you score more if it's all the way inside.

Hit enough of these timings and you will build up a special meter, which when full causes your conductor to become a giant and protects you from any foul-ups you happen to make.

It is quite strict, however. You need to raise your finger off the display screen between swipes, which can lead to missed information given if they're traveling by particularly quickly.

Plus you can't switch to a different control structure, like tapping the sides of the screen, which may make things easier. You simply have to get good or shut down your baton.

Thankfully, the soundtrack alleviates most of these problems, being so wonderful that you won't even mind messing up from time to time.

Clutter up outside of this special bonus and you will lose a life, as well as some people of your orchestra, though you can earn them back by filling the special meter. Lose all five lives as well as game over.

It's easy to get into, but deviously difficult. Whack Epic Orchestra on Hard mode and you will be begging for the quiet parts of songs as your finger begins to ache from all the rapid swiping you will do.

Overall, Epic Orchestra certainly a fantastic introduction to traditional music.

It combines frantic rhythm action with beautiful music, in a juxtaposition that shouldn't work but does so wonderfully.

Obtain used to the from time to time finicky controls and you'll have an absolute blast performing your pixel orchestra through some true classics, even if you're not a fan of the music genre already.
